Geological Summary
Lower Jurassic Unuk River Formation andesite, volcanic breccia and conglomerate are in contact with Middle Jurassic Salmon River Formation argillite, greywacke, limestone and siltstone. Four mineralized zones consisting mainly of pyrite (up to 60 per cent) with lesser chalcopyrite and galena have been discovered. Alteration minerals consist up sericite, chlorite, and silica.
