Geological Summary

Cariboo Group clastic and carbonate rocks have been intruded by granitic rocks. These rocks have been subjected to low grade regional metamorphism and intense deformation. There is less than 1 per cent outcrop, but, where exposed, altered bedrock shows extensive stockwork-type quartz veining.
