The claims occur in the Atlin terrane, a fault bounded independant entity of the Intermontane Belt consisting of Upper Paleozoic sedimentary, volcanic and ultramafic rocks intruded by Mesozoic granite and quartz monzonite plutons. Tertiary and Quaternary volcanic rocks form the youngest unit within the terrane.
