Geological Summary

Middle Jurassic Toodoggone volcanics consisting predominantly of dacite, latite and rhyolite pyroclastics, unconformably overlie augite porphyry basalt flows and breccias of the Upper Triassic Takla Group. Sulphides found in andesitic dykes and porphyries include: chalcocite, chalcopyrite, hematite and lesser amounts of pyrite or tetrahedrite.
