| Geological Summary |
Paleozoic Sicker Group rocks consisting of metabasalt and quartz- feldspar gneiss have been intruded by a Lower-Middle Jurassic quartz diorite belonging to the Island Intrusions. West-northwest trending faults occur in the area and mafic to silicic dykes occupy fractures trending northwesterly. Mineralization includes a nickel-copper-PGM showing and numerous skarn-like showings with copper, gold and silver mineralization.
