The claims are underlain by a conformable sequence of argillites, felsic volcanics, and andesitic ash lapilli tuffs that have been correlated with the Smithers, Whitesail and Telkwa Formations respectively, Hazelton Group. The old Riverside showing was not observed and is assumed to be under water.
