Geological Summary
The property is underlain by metamorphosed sedimentary rocks of the Malton Gneiss of possible Precambrian age. The rocks are folded along a northwest trending axis with dips to the south. Several phases of folding are believed to have occurred and this generalization may be simply the last phase.
