Geological Summary |
Lower Jurassic volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Unuk River Formation are unconformably overlain by Middle Jurassic siltstones, greywackes and sandstones of the Salmon River Formation. Feldspar porphyry intrusions of possible Eocene age are also known to occur on the property. Double-plunging, northwesterly trending synclinal folds dominate the structural setting. Stream geochemistry suggests undetected molybdenite-lead-zinc (silver) and gold (silver) mineralization.
