Geological Summary |
Galena-sphalerite mineralization occurs in dark limestone and light grey phyllite of the Cambrian Cariboo Group. The mineralization is associated with quartz veining, ankerite replacements and a buff coloured massive alteration in zones one to ten metres wide and over 500 metres long in apparent strike length. These zones, which appear conformable with bedding structure, strike 300 degrees and dip 55 degrees northeast. Although the mineralization is continuous, grades are erratic but small high grade "ore shoots" have been identified.
