Geological Summary
The claim area is underlain by sedimentary, volcanic and sub- volcanic rocks of the Jurassic Rossland Group which are intruded by dykes of quartz-feldspar porphyry and hornblende syenodiorite. Except for the presence of disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite, no mineral occurrences are known on the claims. However, outcrops are sparse and work to date has revealed the presence of widespread zinc, lead and arsenic and scattered gold anomalies in soils.
