Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by a series of Lower Jurassic volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Hazelton Group. A band of Permian sedimentary rocks trends northeast across the northwest corner of the New 3 claim. Triassic-Cretaceous quartz monzonites and granodiorites have intruded the volcanic and sedimentary rocks. Several strong faults strike north to northeast. occur.
