Geological Summary
Triassic volcanics and carbonate rocks are intruded by dioritic stocks of the Island Intrusive Complex. Numerous mineral showings occur along an east-west striking contact between a carbonate unit and the base of a volcanic sequence. The showings consist of auri- ferous zinc-rich skarns and replacement zones.
