Geological Summary
The claims cover a steep to vertical contact between Karmutsen Formation volcanics on the west and Island Intrusives granodiorite on the east. Shearing with some brecciation, minor alteration and carbonate veining occurs in the volcanics at the contact. Very fine placer gold with magnetite occurs in the Bonanza River and may be derived from this contact area.
