The property is underlain by rocks of the Karmutsen, Quatsino and Bonanza formations. Numerous intrusives of Jurassic age outcrop on the property. Spotty skarns at limestone contacts and very narrow quartz veins in shear zones are common. Fresher-looking intrusives may possibly be of Tertiary age.
