The claims are predominantly underlain by Lower Jurassic volcanic and sedimentary rocks belonging to the Hazelton Group. Feldspar porphyry dykes are found locally on the property. Quartz monzonite stocks are located to the east of the claims. A skarn outcrop measuring 100 metres by 200 metres is located near the eastern boundary of the Mon 1 claim block.
