Geological Summary
The area is underlain by the Upper Triassic to Lower Jurassic volcanic and sedimentary succession of the Vancouver and Bonanza Groups and Cretaceous sedimentary cover. Middle Jurassic granodioritic stocks (Quatse stock) and quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes cut the gently southwestward dipping succession. Copper and molybdenum are mined from the Bonanza Group east of the claims.
