Geological Summary
The underlying rocks consist of basalt flows and breccia of the Upper Triassic Takla Group and Middle Jurassic Toodoggone volcanics. The Toodoggone rocks include Adoogatcho Creek Formation crystal ash tuffs and Moyez Creek conglomerate, greywacke, bedded crystal tuff and epiclastic sedimentary rocks. These rocks are intruded by Jurassic granodiorite and quartz diorite. The majority of faults trend northeast and other faults tend to be cross-cutting.
