Geological Summary
Toodoggone volcanics of Middle Jurassic age including andesite flows and tuff host epithermal alteration zones containing quartz- barite-gold-silver mineralization. Alteration zones are tabular to vein-like and comprise a central silicified core enveloped by intensely argillized rock. Most alteration zones are steeply dipping and are controlled by northwest to northeast trending fault systems.
