| Geological Summary |
Volcaniclastic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Hazelton Group are overlain to the east by Middle to Upper Jurassic argillites of the Bowser Group. A zone of pyritized tuffs parallel to the contact contains copper/gold mineralization possibly related to quartz stockworks. Stream sediments contain anomalous levels of copper, gold, lead, zinc, molybdenum and cobalt.
