Geological Summary

Quatsino limestone is in shear contact with undifferentiated Karmutsen basalt and andesite along its southern contact. The contact is mostly obscured by alluvium. A wedge of fine-grained diabase cuts the limestone in the center of the property. The limestone was light grey to grey in color.
