Geological Summary
Quartz veins, stockworks and silicification occur in host rock of Jurassic and Eocene felsic volcanic, volcaniclastic sediments and monzonite intrusives. Mapping of boulder trains in quartz overburden covered areas indicated northeast trends in the Morraine area. Assay values from one quartz vein gave 3.9 grams per tonne gold over 1 metre, while selected grab samples returned 36.5 grams per tonne gold and 822.7 grams per tonne silver.
