Government geological mapping shows the Expo 4 and 6 claim group to be underlain by volcanic extrusives of the Kamloops Group. The regional geology is described by the Geological Survey of Canada in Open File 627. Expo 4 and 6 are of Tertiary age (45 my). They include andesite, basalt, dacite, trachyte flows and dykes, tuff and agglomerate.
