Geological Summary
Underlain predominantly by Upper Cretaceous Kingsvale Group of clastic sedimentary rocks. To the southwest the sediments are in fault contact with the Coast Range batholith. The fault is the Telaikazan which is a regionally extensive fault striking through the Minto mine and northwesterly through several mineral prospects. Massive arsenopyrite mineralization hosting gold occurs on the Native Son property where one sediments have been intruded by quartz diroite and younger dykes.
