Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by Upper Triassic volcanic rocks of the Nicola Group lying between the Iron Mask batholith to the west and the Wild Horse batholith to the east. Nicola volcaniclastic rocks strike north-northwest and dip steeply everywhere on the property. The only known showing on the claims is a gold-bearing quartz vein, 0.5 to 1.8 metres wide, striking 285 degrees and dipping 35 degrees south. The gold is associated with much arsenopyrite and is exposed in a 6 metre deep shaft on the Beer 1 claim.
