Geological Summary
Lower Paleozoic Lardeau Group rocks are mineralized with intensely deformed, stratiform-type deposits of siderite and quartz with pyrite, galena and sphalerite along steeply dippinng, limestone- chlorite schist contacts. Widely spaced sampling of these zones across widths of between 1 and 3 metres returned grades ranging from trace to 2.4 grams of gold per tonne; 15.5 to 372 grams of silver per tonne, and combined metal content of between 1 and 25 per cent.
