Geological Summary
Karmutsen mafic flows and volcaniclastic rocks, locally cut by Jurassic(?) granitic plutons, underlie the majority of the property, and are in fault contact with Quatsino limestone to the northwest and west. The Karmutsen volcanics host several pyrrhotite-magnetite bodies, which locally contain arsenopyrite, pyrite and copper minerals.
