Geological Summary |
The property is underlain predominantly by acid to intermediate composition volcanic rocks of the Upper Cretaceous-Eocene Ootsa Lake Group. Major fault lineaments and local zones of intense fracturing display a strong north-northeast trend. Several small, structurally- controlled gold-silver occurrences on the claims are associated with argillically altered rhyolite, local fracturing and faulting, and translucent quartz to grey chalcedonic quartz veinlets. Erratic gold-silver values persist over areas up to 3 by 5 metres in size.
