Geological Summary |
Folded andesites and rhyolites are interbedded with shales and limestones of possible Hazelton Formation of Jurassic age. The rocks are locally sheared ,silicified and pyritized. Sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite are also present in north trending massive sulphide boulders and lenses as well as disseminations. Widths of up to 9 metresor more with strike lengths potentially in excess of 300 metres is possible.
