Geological Summary
The predominant rock type on the Four Aces claim group is a massive dark grey-green andesite. It is presumed to be part of the Hazelton volcanics and Lower to Middle Jurassic in age. The volcanics are cut by aplite dykes and some quartz apophysis both likely related to the Coast Intrusions. Bornite, chalcopyrite and pyrite mineralization is associated with both the aplite and quartz.
