Geological Summary
The property is underalin predominantly by felsic volcanics of the Upper Cretaceous to Eocene Ootsa Lake Group. Major fault lineaments trend northeast to east and associated dilatant fault structures trend northwest to northeast. Mineralization includes gold, stibnite, arsenopyrite, pyrite, cinnabar, and marcasite and shows a strong spatial relationship to fracturing and brecciation. Hydrothermal alteration, dominantly quartz and chalcedony, is pronounced in structurally-controlled zones.
