The property is underlain by Late Triassic Apex Mountain volcanic and sedimentary rocks. Gold and silver values are reported from massive pyrrhotite lenses. The pyrrhotite lenses are up to 3 metres wide and occur discontinuously over a strike length of 2400 metres with a vertical extent of at least 300 metres.
