Geological Summary
The outcrop is limited to the northern and western side of the property. All exposure belongs to the Fergusson Group and is either chert or greenstone. The cherts exhibited a ribbon texture due to a 2-3 centimetre spaced planar cleavage. The greenstones are fine to medium grained, dark green, massive volcanics. Originally they were basic andesite to basaltic composition. Locally ultrabasic compositions are encountered. There is the possibility of a north trending fault which cuts through the western portion of the property.
