The claims are underlain by a granodiorite to quartz diorite stock in contact with altered mafic-rich volcanic rocks of the Karmutsen Formation. Chlorite and epidote are common near the contact. Auriferous pyrite, chalcopyrite and bornite occur in quartz-filled fractures at the intrusive-volcanic rock contact.
