| Geological Summary |
Underlain by a sequence of granitoid intrusive rocks that have been hydrothermally altered and locally pyritized. Two gold bearing units have been recognized: pyritic (7%+OR) and silicified quartz monzonite: (2) propylitized monzonite containing 0.5% - 10% magnetite. Spotty patches of chalcocite and occassional grains of chalcopyrite also occur.
