Schist and andesite to basaltic Nicola volcanic rocks are intruded by the Eagle granodiorite. Plugs and irregular bodies of quartz-feldspar porphyry intrude both the Nicola rocks and the granodiorite in a zone along their contact. Mineralization is associated with the porphyries.
