Geological Summary
The sedimentary rocks of the Middle Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous Relay Mountain Group, the Late Lower Cretaceous Taylor Creek Group which is in part volcanic, by Pebble conglomerate, sediments and later volcanics of the Upper Cretaceous Kingsvale Group are part of trending Tyaughton Trough. These are overlain by columnar basalt of the Miocene Chilcotin Group.
