| Geological Summary |
The area is crossed by a Fraser River fault separating Cretaceous clastic sedimentary from Eocene volcanic rocks. A small stock of granodiorite is exposed and several altered felsite dykes (Eocene?) cut the sediments. Stibnite, arsenopyrite, pyrite and cinnabar occur locally in large silica-carbonate alteration zones.
