Geological Summary

Takla-type subaqueous andesitic tuffs, breccias and derived greywacke and conglomerate are overlain by augite porphyry andesites. Plagioclase-bearing tuff, lahar, pyroclastic are plagioclase-bearing tuff, lahar, pyroclastic breccia, conglomerate and mudstone, possibly of the Jurassic Hazelton Group. Dykes and stocks of feldspar hornblende porphyry intrude the volcanic rocks.
