Geological Summary
Underlain by Mesozoic volcanic and intrusive rocks. Volcanic rocks include feldspar porphyry types, flows, and pyroclastic breccias of andesite composition. Augite porphyritic flows which may be triassic Takla Group occur on a ridge top and on the north slope. The volcanic rocks are intruded by a fresh diorite and a pink porphyritic intrusive which lies along the margin of the diorite.
