Geological Summary
Rhyolite and quartz-eye rholite are overlain by andesite, dacite and carbonaceous volcaniclastics. Jasper veins and alteration pataches up to 3 m. wide occur in the Upper Volcanic unit near its contact with the rhyolites. The volcanics are of the Ootsa Lake Group, Paleocene to Oligocene.
