| Geological Summary |
Quartzites and carbonate rocks of the Lower Cambrian Atan Group are conformably overlain by teh shale-slate-argillite sequence of the Cambro-Ordovician Kechika Group. To the east Kechika Group is conformably overlain by Ordo-Silurian carbonate rocks of the McDame Group. A conformable contact is proposed between the McDame Group and Devonian-Mississippian Volcano-Sedimentary Sylvester Group.
