Geological Summary |
Volcanics and volcaniclastics of Middle Triassic or older age are in fault contact with conglomerates and shales of the Lower Cretaceous Taylor Creek Group. The faults commonly are marked by serpentine bodies which locally are converted to silica-carbonate-magnesite with minor pyrite. Strong fault zones cross Taylor and Tyaughton Creeks.
