| Geological Summary |
Barite deposits occur in the Dutch Creek Formation of the Purcell System as bedded sedimentary deposits and, as in the BBX Vein, as a hydrothermal deposit. The vein strikes 110 and dips 85 degrees NW. It is terminated by the right lateral "Pond Fault", bearing ENE.
