The property is underlain by sedimentary rocks of the Bowser Lake Group (Upper Jurassic - Lower Cretaceous) which have been intruded by dykes and small plugs of feldspar-hornblende biotite porphyry (Eocene?). Minor pyrite and chalcopyrite and molybdenite are found within and adjacent to quartz-pyrite-sericite stockworks.
