Geological Summary

Andesitic and rhyolytic flow rocks of the Hazelton Group (Jurassic) are intruded by granitic rocks of the Coast Mountain Batholith. Many northwesterly and northeasterly trending lineaments include diabase dykes. Molybdenite and chalcopyrite occur in quartz veinlets; and disseminated in leucogranite.
