Geological Summary
Sedimentary rocks of the Slocan series (Triassic) are intruded by the Nelson granodiorite (Lower Cretaceous). Six small former mines produced silver from white quartz veins containing argentite, ruby silver, native silver, enargite, galena and sphalerite.
