Geological Summary
Crystal lapilli tuffs and breccias, and a lesser dacit porphyry flow of Jurassic age are cut by a small diorite plug, andesite and basalt dykes. A broad zone of pervasive silicification and quartz veining, brecciation and shearing contains disseminated and vein occurrences of galena, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite. The zone may relate to a northwesterly regional fault.
