Mount Nelson Formation quartzite, dolostone, argillite and dolomitic argillite occupy the core of a tightly folded, shallowly northwest plunging syncline. Galena, tetrahedrite, sphalerite and chalcopyrite occur in Dutch Creek Formation argillite and dolostone and in Mount Nelson Formation dolostone.
