Geological Summary

Metasedimentary and lesser volcanic rocks are intruded by a Tertiary pluton. Smaller bodies of gabbro and/or diorite and spatially related to the metavolcanics. Several bodies of altered ultramafic rocks are located around a prominent linear (Fault Zone) which trends NNW. Numerous quartz veins and stockworks contain minor amounts of pyrite.
