Operating a commercial sport fishing resort, mooring facilities and use and maintenance of a waterline Background: Hakai Lodge is a seasonal fishing resort. It operates from July 10th to August 31st of each year. At the end of each season the lodge is disconnected from the standing boom and towed out of the park (about 48 kilometers) to the South. It is stored in a remote bay (Sunshine Bay) until the spring of the following year. It is then re-towed from Sunshine Bay back to its mooring place at Hakai Pass. Nine months of the year Hakai Lodge is not in the Hakai Luxvbalis Conservancy.
